Room temperature thermoelectric(TE) material is a class of most concerned one that is implied will having a profound influence on human being daily life. until now Bi2Te3-based alloy are the state-of-art room temperature thermoelectric materials, and many research institutions have devoted to study a variety of low-dimensional Bi2Te3-based nanostructured materials, yet believed that the bulk of low-dimensional materials can be fabricated in large quantities and to become industrial production, many people expected nanostructured bulk materials in the future will play a great application potential.In this thesis, the main study is based on the Bi2Te3nanorods room temperature thermoelectric materials and the thermoelectric properties of Bi2Te3doping with Ag,Au,SiO2were further investigated or analysised. Bi2Te3nanorods thermoelectric materials is Prepared by hydrothermal synthesis and the Bi2Te3doping with Ag,Au,SiO2were synthesised by low-temperature wet chemical method and Stober method, and the sample structure, microstructure characterization are detected and analysed by XRD, SEM, TEM and EDS, we also studied the impact of different doping substances and different doping level on their thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, Seebeek coefficient and figure of merit. compared with the pure Bi2Te3, the results show that thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity of the doped samples both decresed,and the result of different levels is not the same, ZT value is lower than pure Bi2Te3.
