| With the development of computer technology, CAE plays an increasinglyimportant role in industrial production. Moldflow is a famous injection mouldingflow analysis software, and based on its design guidelines and secondarydevelopment technology, the injection molding CAE assisted analysis andevaluation system was developed. The system consists of five subsystems asfollows:(1) Auxiliary evaluation system of forming windowFor a given plastic part, after selecting one sort of injection molding materials,the process parameters including the optimal melt temperature, the optimal moldtemperature and injection time could be obtained through the analysis of moldingwindow, and the final consequence was presented in the form of window interfacetextbox.(2) Filling analysis assisted evaluation systemThe filling analysis results involving the melt front temperature, the solidifiedlayer thickness at the end of filling, the maximum shear stress, the maximum shearrate, the time to reach extruding temperature and the volume shrinkage wereextracted at first. Then, each result was explained at length and assessed in theinterface window, and some recommendations were made by referring to Moldflowhelp documentation.(3) Cooling analysis assisted evaluation systemAccording to the basic principles of MPI/Cool analysis, cooling analysisresults involving the temperature mold, circuit coolant temperature, time to reachejection temperature part and circuit metal temperature were extracted andevaluated.(4) Warpage analysis auxiliary evaluation systemThe warpage reason was firstly illustrated. Then, the orthogonal design tablewas established according to the warpage-influencing factors and levels, and theresults of each set of experiments were obtained. Meanwhile, RBF neural networkwas utilized to establish the mathematical relationship between the warpage andvarious factors. Finally, the PSO algorithm program was used to find the optimalcombinations of process parameters. (5) Fiber analytical assisted evaluation systemThis part is used to do MPI/Fiber analysis for the fiber reinforced plastic, andextract the fiber orientation tensor results and mechanical property parameters ofeach unit in the flow process. Finally, through the coupling analysis of Moldflowand structural CAE, the residual stress data and material anisotropy data achievedby Moldflow simulation were exported to Algor to make further product structureanalysis so as to obtain more comprehensive and accurate analysis consequence ofmechanical properties.Finally, through the implementation of instance verification for the injectionmolding CAE assisted analysis and evaluation system, it is proved that the systemis feasible and has certain instructive effect on injection molding production, andcould provide users with some Moldflow analysis guidance, especially for learningbeginners. |
