Nowadays, it is necessary to process materials in modern industry, whiletraditional plasma cutting method has some demerits in its portable type, energyconsumption and select range of material. The plasma cutting and welding machine,being studied in this paper, takes water as working medium, having no pollution tothe environment, and it doesn’t need to be equipped with air compressor and gascylinder as supplementary. It has the advantages of low weight, convenientlycarrying, low energy consumption and high efficiency, what’s more, it offerscutting and welding those two processing methods, and widen the select range,which makes great contribution to plasma cutting machine’s research.Control panel is the core part of the whole control system, it changes workingstate through two circuit, offering parameter to the system and taking a series ofprotections, and it also provides the operators a direct control menu.As a main part which produces plasma arc flame, the spray gun plays animportant role in it, and it determines the smooth of plasma arc’s emergence.Because of taking water as medium, the design of spray gun should takeconsideration of water room’s size and choosing of electrode material.This paper introduces the design of plasma cutting and welding machine’scontrol panel on its hardware and software. For hardware, it emphasize the itsmodule’s principle and how it restrains noise interferences, the former mainlyintroduces SCM and module chip’s modeling and principal design, and the latterintroduces how it restrains the noise interference through PCB composition andfilter circuit design. While for software, it firstly introduces software’smodularization design procedure of MCS51, and then lay stress on the method ofhow the software control the work of cutting and welding machine, and finallyclarifies the software’s two main anti-jamming ways and some protection ofworking state. And for structure design, this paper stresses the importance of spraygun’s design, and it is introduced on hydroecium size, electrode, jet and coolingsystem. At last, having repeat tests on this cutting and welding machine, observeworking state and analyses the results. According to experiments and test, this plasma cutting and welding machine has the merits of excellent performance,steady working condition, and it conform to the expected design target. |
