Stimuli-responsive polymers have been extensively investigated and used assmart biomaterials. The phase transition or phase separation of polymer is inducedby a change in various conditions such as temperature, pH, electric field and solventcomposition. All kinds of environmental response materials, temperature responsepolymer can be easily used to the biomaterials such as drug delivery systems. However, the application of polymers to drug delivery systems is difficult becausemost stimuli-responsive polymers are not biodegradable and some are toxic. If apolymer which is designed, contained biodegradability, stimuli-responsive andbiocompatibility, it was used as carrier which is applied location-release drugIn this thesis, L-aspartic as row material,3-(N-isopropylacetamides)-6-methyl-2,5-morpholine dione and homologue was synthesized. Thestructure of intermediates and products were characterized by NMR spectroscopy(1HNMR,13CNMR) and Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra. Relativemolecular mass were mass spectroscopy (MS). In addition, products werecharacterized by elemental analysis and single crystal diffraction. In this thesis, L-lysine hydrochloride as row material,3-(propionylbutylamine)-6-methyl-2,5-morpholine dione. The structure of intermediates andproducts were characterized by NMR spectroscopy (1HNMR,13CNMR) andFourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra.
