In recent years, due to the rapid growth of national economy and peoplematerial standard of living, high requirement in manerals has become more andmore urgent. With the increasing need for manerals, many exploitingenterprises has been developed like bamboo shoots.Nevertheless it hadseriously polluted local environment and the water body whenworking.Environmental pollution was described in mine area, especially insoil. The application of surfanctant enhaned remediation in repairing polltion insoil were emphatacally discussed. This task made PAHs in mine area to be an experimental subject and muchreviewing was made on the principles, the current research results and the mainproblems of the surfacntant remediation for soils contaiminated byPAHs.Compering with general surfactant, applications of new type enhancingagents in SER technology were forcaster.Solubility enhancements of naphthalene and anthracene in micellarsolutions of single and mixed surfantanct were studied. The sequence of singlesolubility enhancements at surfanctant concentrations above their CMC isDODAB>H-003>LAB-30>ACID, evaluated through the CMC, the molarsolubilization ratio(MSR) and the critical micelle-aqueous phases partitioncofficient(Km c). The synergistic effect of the mixed surfactants on PAHs isDODAB/H-003>DODAB/LAB-30>DODAB/ACID. And all the mixedsurfanctant systems showed some synergistic solibilization ability onnaphthalene and anthracene. The Gemini surfactants palyed well in single andmixed systems both.Effects of molar ratio, coexist normal homologue, inorganic electrolyteand temperaure were also investigated. The results showed that thesolubilization ability of mixed surfanctants on naphthalene coexisted withanthracene were showing synergistic solubilization effect. The solubizationability of PAHs was also increased by influence of temperature more than by inorganic electrolyte. Suitable quantity of inorganic eletrolytes can enhancethe solubization capacities of mixed surfactants, the effect beingMg2+>Ca2+>SO42-.The result proved that the1:4was the optimal mixingproportion of DODAB surfactant with H-003surfactant, where showed goodsynergetic solubilization effect. And the solubilization ability ofDODAB/H-003mixed system on PAHs would reached its peak at30℃whenMg2+in the concentration of1mmol/L.
