With the development of industrial technology, the production specifications ofhot-rolled plate and strip become thinner and required with strict dimensional accuracyand shape quality at the same time. The frequent abnormal vibration phenomenon of therolling mill in hot-rolled sheet production do damage to the mechanical equipment andelectrical control equipment, iMPact the shape, thickness and surface quality of the plateand strip, even cause steel belt break, heaping of steel and other industrial accidents whilethe condition is serious. Abnormal vibration contains vertical vibration of the rolling mill,horizontal vibration of the work roll and torque vibration of the main driven system. Thesethree kinds of vibration mode which are complex and cross effect increase the complexityof the vibration model, which is not conductive to the theoretical analysis.This paper made kinematics and dynamics analysis on the mill roll system on thebasis of considering the effect of three kinds of vibration. Building the model of millvibration system based on the different properties of vibration coupling influence androlling force to frame level stiffness influence. Then analyze the characteristics of thevibration of the mill coupled model and the rolling mill vibration mechanism. Analyze themill vibration characteristics with different process and mill structure and the iMPact ofdifferent parameters on the vibration of the mill integrating with the production data.Combined with the parameters of1580hot rolling mill in Shougang Qiangang, thesubject made simulation analysis and confirmation the iMPact of the different parameterson the vibration of rolling mill. Analyze the reason of the frequent occurrence of abnormalvibration of hot-rolled strip steel and put forward the reasonable and optimized proposals.Rolling mill production test analysis and contrast with simulation conclusion, verifythe reliability of the model. Conduct inhibitory experiment of the vibration system. Bytracking and monitoring the effects of vibration suppressing measures, analyze thereliability of the improved method. Providing some theoretical support and reference forthe mill coupled vibration study and the mill vibration suppression program.
