Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) is the copolymer obtained from the two monomersof butadiene and acrylonitrile through emulsion polymerization. With oil resistance,heat resistance, resistance to benzene and excellent physical and mechanicalproperties, as the elastomers of oil resistant rubber, it is widely used in aerospace,chemical industry, automobile, oil exploration, electric wire and cable, printing, foodpackaging and textile etc. All kinds of additives in the synthesis of NBR process havegreat influence on the performance of NBR.This paper was about preparation of polymerization of acrylonitrile-butadienerubber by butadiene and acrylonitrile monomer. We explored influence on propertiesof NBR rubber with the temperature, molecular weight,conversation and systemcaused by adjusting dosage, dosage, and condensation process of emulsifying agent.Gel content, tensile strength, tensile elongation and300%tensile strength will do thetest according to SH/T1050-91、GB/T528-1998. The analysis of the molecularweight will be carried out by adopting150c by ALC/GPC-type gel permeationchromatography (GPC) of the U.S. water company. Using90Plus laser particle sizeAnalyzer of Brookhaven Instruments Corporation to measure latex particle size,XR-14-determination of mechanical stability testing equipment to test the highmechanical stability of latex.We discussed influence on properties of NBR’s anti-aging system with promotionagent, plasticizer, reinforcement system.Additionly we discussed the differentmolecular weight,distribution of property and micro-structure of different propertiesof acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber NBR, NBR of different manufacturers. Mooneyviscosity, combined with the acrylonitrile content, mechanical properties (tensileelongation, tensile strength,300%elongation etc.), respectively do thecharacterization by according to GB/T1232.1-2000, SH/T1157-1997, SH/T1611-2004(ASTM irb no7carbon black, GB/T,528-2009I type cutter),vulcanization time according to SH/T1611-2004.
