| The materials property affects the whole process of product design in theindustrial design. The new materials applied in the product design can improve theproduct property and renovate the product usage mode. The shape memory alloy, asone kind of intellectual materials with the properties of shape memory, variablestiffness and super elasticity, has been applied in the fields of medicine, industry, lifeand son. Recently, the domestic bathroom temperature-sensing valves with shapememory alloy drives are adopted in the mixture of hot and cold water in showersystem. The thesis beginning with the temperature-control property of bathroomproducts makes design and emulation of temperature-sensing valves with shapememory alloy drives as the following four aspects.Firstly, the thesis beginning with the customers requirements of bathroomproducts summarizes the security, comfort and intelligence of bathroom products aswell as kinds and control modes. The properties of various shape memory alloy areanalyzed and compared with different constitutive models. The shape memory alloymodel is definite which is adequate for temperature variation.Secondly, based on the specific analysis of temperature-sensing valve principlesthe thesis proposes the design factors of temperature-sensing valve with shapememory alloy drive combing the security, comfort, material properties and functionalrealization.Thirdly, according to the design factors there are two different proposals fortemperature-sensing valve with shape memory alloy drive. The designs respectivelyapply cylindrical screw stretching and plane turbination shape memory alloy springsand the volume of the plane one is smaller.Finally, the thesis makes simulation analysis of the security and comfort ofmixed water with different temperature. Both of the designs meet the requirements.Through the comparison with the results, the plane one is better than the cylindricaloneThe thesis, beginning with the application of shape memory alloy in thebathroom temperature-sensing valve, analyzes the control principle of constant temperature-sensing valve and makes optimized design. Both new design programsnot only change the single application mode, but also extend the serviceable range oftemperature-sensing valve with shape memory alloy drive, which is significant for thedomestic bathroom products renovation. |
