With rapid development of urbanization, it has caused a lot ofproblems in construction waste logistics system, such as sediment vehiclequeuing on the road which causing serious impact in city traffic. Due to thecomplexity of transport process in construction waste logistics systemimpacted by random factors, it has little relevant quantitative research inconstruction waste logistics. The thesis has studied construction wastelogistics system based on Cyclic Operations Network, since the methodhas been successfully used in construction jobs, which also have the samecycle characteristics as those in the system.In the thesis, construction waste logistics system is simulated andanalyzed to solve the practical problem in high density city by studyingsediment truck as object and reducing waiting time as optimizationobjective. Combined with characteristics of construction waste logistics,modified Cyclic Operations Network model is built based on queuingtheory and system simulation. Study sub-system of construction wastelogistics and establish simulation model by Arena, and form the analyzingindex based on sensitivity analysis. Analyze the system quantitatively andqualitatively combined with RFID technology, and provide an optimizedproposal to improve service level of the system. Finally, through study andresearch on a real project, loaders service time is sensitive factor in thesystem, and arrival type of sediment vehicle would highly affect thequeuing time of vehicle when considering economy factor. Improved bychanging multiple factors, two practical improved proposals are provided.In the thesis, based on simulation by advanced Cyclic Operations Network model and further research by sensitivity analysis, the key factorscausing queuing problem in construction waste logistics system are foundwhich provide an efficient analysis method, optimization tool andimproved proposal for the queuing problem in system.
