| Organic silanization of metal surface is one of processing techniques on surface protection in recent years. The technology have been rapidly develop in the field of corrosion control of metals owing to the characteristics of no pollution, non-toxicity, wide application etc. It is one of the environmental corrosion protection technology which can be as chromate replacement. Silane films express good hydrophobicity and adhesion based on the reaction between the hydrolytic silanol groups formed during hydrolysis reaction and oxides on metal surface and polymerization among silane molecule.This article selected vinyltriethoxysilane as surface treating agent and mixed solvent consist of ethanol and deionized water as hydrolysis medium of VTES, and studied on the hydrolytic processing of vinyltriethoxysilane, the preparation technique of silane films and application on other metal surface, using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, polarization curve fourier transform infrared spectrum and scanning electron microscope. The results of the study show that:(1) Silanol groups are formed during hydrolysis of the silane solution. The increase of water promotes hydrolysis of silane, and the increase of ethanol improves stabilization of silane solution. The hydrolytic system has the best ratio of silane solution, hydrolytic time, curing temperature and curing time.(2) The impedance of silane films on Q235steel is2to3magnitudes higher than that of bare matrix. The additive concentration of Ce(NO3)3·6H2O has evident effects on the corrosion resistance of silane film. Bertter corrosion resistance of silane films on Q235steel surface can be obtained when1×10-3mol/L eerie salt is added to silane sulotion.(3) The aluminium applied on the preparation technique of VTES silane film have better corrosion resistance, compact-ability and adhesion; the silane films on hot-dip galvanized steel have higher impedance compared with bare sample, but their persistance of the corrosion resistance are bad, and the surface of the silanization galvanized steel was seriously corroded during polarization curve test. |
