Superalloy find more and more applications in many industrial fields because of their specific strength, good corrosion resistance and high thermal stability. However, superalloy is well known as a difficult to machine material, because of its low thermal conductivity, small elastic module, and high chemical activity. Many researchers have put their attentions on the creep speed grinding of superalloy. In this paper, some researches carried out on the fundamental aspects of creep speed grinding of superalloy, as the grinding force, the grinding temperature, surface roughness.This paper simply has analyzed the mechanism of ultra-high speed grinding for Superalloy. Firstly, it introduces the Superalloy of configuration, performance, application, then summarized the characteristic of grinding for superalloy. At the present time, this paper finds difficulty in grinding for Superalloy, summarized the characteristic of technology of grinding for Superalloy.This paper emphasizes particularly on the abrasive geometry analysis on ulra-high speed grinding. At the foundation of the model, this paper has buildt the calculate models about the grinding force, and simulates the mathematical model, analysis the effects of the grinding parameters on them. This paper calculates surface temperature at the foundation of grinding temperature theory and simulates the grinding temperature field.Experiments for ultra-high speed grinding had been carried out. The influence of grinding parameters on the grinding surface roughness were studied. At the same time, the grinding surface were studied and observed by equipment.
