Mine ventilation network computer simulation and prediction, that is, based on computertechnology, useing ventilation system known in the past and present information and data,according to scientific methods reproduce the operation ventilation system in the past and masterthe system running state, in order to predict the system runing speculation in the future. It is agood combination of air safety theory and computer technology.MIVENA is a mine ventilation network simulator designed for ventilation engineers andeducators to learn about ventilation flow, mine climate, air temperature and humidity in a mineresulting form dynamic processess. It has a high practical value in simulation of airflow inventilation system, air-flow changese forecasting and climate prediction of mine. MIVENAbased on mine ventilation safety theory, established the simulation and prediction model, usecomputer-based tools to solve practical problems.In the study, the nodal flow potential method has been useed and applied to develop theventilation simulatior MIVENA. On base of that, the author bringed up skyline modifiedCholeski’s decomposition scheme to solve the problems of ventilation network calculation. It hasthe advantages of rapid convergence and a reduction in required computer memory spacecompared with other schemes. A practical and simple method of calculating the airwayrock-surface temperature, under partly or fully wetted conditions without any iterativecalculations, is proposed for practical ranges of airflow temperature,humidity, rock thermalproperties, and weteness had been studied. And author developed Chinese vesion of MIVENAsystem using in China coal mine. Which solved the graph problem in different version of VBlanguage. At last, the paper got the best plan by using MIVENA system to simulation severaldifferent solutions to reslove the problems existed in Zaozhuang coal mine. Furthermore,discussed the optimization of ventilation problems met after expanding coal production capacityhave been listed to find the solution advises which provides a series of important theoretical data.
