The activated sludge process has characteristics of multi-variable, strong coupling, high non-linearity and hysteresis, which result in being a laggard in control of wastewater treatment process. On the basis of an adequate acquaintance of activated sludge water treatment process, the paper introduced an artificial neural network model to predict the value of DO and ensure its stability through state feedback method.In this paper, we introduced aeration control technology in wastewater treatment and designed control system via the basic Intelligent Control theory so that stable control of dissolved oxygen can be achieved. With this method, water quality could be guaranteed, at the same time, amount of blast air could be reduced and energy consumption could be reduced. The design of intelligent control model, provide the highly efficient operation of wastewater treatment system, the research of intelligent modeling and control methods of wastewater treatment process can be valuable in theory and reality.The system introduced in this paper, IA Control System, has been used in the three phase of the project of Qige sewage treatment plant in Hangzhou. Target of Stability of DO control and energy reduction has been achieved. The operation analysis data shows that the system effectively raises the standards and reduces emissions, and has high practical value.
