Composite forming mould is the main technological equipment of compositecomponents. Whether good or not,the mould greatly affects the component productionquality. With the composite material manufacturing technology development, the requirementfor mould is higher and higher. However, the design and manufacture of composite formingmould is in the developing stage, which far falls behind the foreign advanced level. Therefore,it has a great significance to research on the design and manufacture method of compositeforming mould.In this paper, based on the multi-point forming technology and RTM forming process,the INVAR steel mould structural manufacturing method is put forward. This method solvesthe design and manufacture problems of composite forming mould. The main completed workis as follows:Firstly, in view of the composite forming mould design and manufacture technology, thedomestic and foreign research present situation and development trend are discussed, focusingon the analysis of composite forming technology and composite forming mould applicationtechnology. The research goal and main research contents are expounded.Secondly, with the combination of the multi-point flexible forming technology and RTMforming process, the INVAR steel mould structural manufacturing method is proposed. Thenmethod is verified to be feasible, including hot-structure coupling analysis, mould pressuretightness verification and mould manufacturing accuracy verification.Finally, the contents and results of this paper are summarized and the further researchdirection and work are proposed.
