Welding technology is a reliable splicing method to connect metal or non-metalliccomponents, welding components will inevitably have some flaws or defects, example:penetration, undercut, weld flash, surface porosity, surface cracks, these defects becomponents affect the performance of even the accident, in order to ensure the reliability andservice life of welded components, weld defect detection has a very important significance.Many companies still use the weld inspection of large quantities of artificial visual method,this method is a high probability of undetected low accuracy. Detection based on computervision technology came into being in order to improve the detection quality and productionefficiency. Using computer vision technology, in this paper design a cylindrical workpieceinner ring weld visual flaw detection system with real time image acquisition, storage anddisplay capabilities.The system uses a panoramic imaging technology, designed for the bottom of thecylindrical workpiece inner ring weld visual inspection system and weld informationcollected by a panoramic imaging technology, the LED array combination of light keytechnologies required to achieve uniform illumination to meet the subject ofin the seamwhere the environmental space, the light is not sufficient, the special position of the weld.This article first to the principle of inner weld visual inspection system, design the overallstructure of the system, select the appropriate CCD camera and lens; Secondly, made adetailed study of these two aspects of the LED array illumination and a panoramic imagingtechnology; Finally, in the spherical mirror and uniform auxiliary lighting with the use of thePC the inner weld image acquisition, storage and display functions. The system has been onthe inner weld testing to verify the reliability of the system.
