For a long historical period, people held a wrong viewpoint that ecological resources and functions of nature were inexhaustible. Since the industrial revolution, expanding ranges of human activities, increasing degree and accelerating process of urbanization have resulted in land cover and land structure tremendous changes, which have effects on the structure and function of ecosystem. Deteriorating ecological environment and declining quality have produced a series of problems such as soil erosion, desertification, greenhouse effect, eutrophication and loss of biodiversity of the world range and so on.At present, the social economy of our country is still in the special stage of development, contradictions between urbanization and ecological environment still exist. People pay more attention to total quantity and the speed of social economic development due to factors such as performance evaluation of government and often ignore the losses caused by the ecological environment occupation and damage. Since Costanza et al made the global value of ecosystem services quantitative estimates, people not only qualitatively describe the coercive of economic development on the ecological environment, but also quantitatively assess the ecosystem services. Scholars start evaluations from a global scale, national scale, regional scale and a single ecosystem, while study for the county small scale is relatively little and research on spatial and temporal evolution of ecosystem services is relatively weak. In addition, there are stress and constraints between ecosystem services and urbanization, the relationship between the two is complex. Quantitative analysis of coupling relationship between urbanization and ecological system service is little.Based on the theory of geography and ecology, from a county scale which has complete administrative function and jurisdiction, taking Feixian County, Shandong Province as an example, this paper uses geographic information system (GIS) and remote sensing (RS) technology, adopts the theory of land use transfer matrix, the comprehensive index of land use degree and land use spatial structure information entropy to analyze the law of land use change. Besides, land use type data and modified ecosystem service value coefficient are used to estimate the value of ecosystem services of Feixian County. Lorenz curve method and migration of gravity model are used to explore the characteristics of spatial-temporal variations of ecosystem service function and make quantitative assessment of coupling coordination degree of the level of urbanization and two subsystems of ecosystem services. The results prove that (1) land use types changes greatly during2000to2010in Feixian, which resulted in the loss of cultivated land transfer up to4772.44hectares; comprehensive utilization of land use degree is in development stage; Information entropy of land use structure and balance degree is not high as a whole, but it continues to grow with the accelerated process of urbanization.(2) the ecosystem service value tended to decrease, a decrease of52,307,800yuan during2000to2010in Feixian; Lorenz curve drawn by the value of ecosystem services, not only can reflect the degree of aggregation of the distribution of land use structure, but also to reveal balance degree of different land use types of ecosystem services; ecosystem service center shows the trend of moving to the northwest.(3) Coupling coordination effect between urbanization and ecosystem services gives priority to with medium and strong relationship in Feixian. Because of nonlinear superposition impact of evaluation index system between the two subsystems, urbanization and ecosystem services coupled relationship is complex and different. This paper aims to explore the temporal and spatial variations of land ecosystem services as well as the coupling coordination degree of urbanization and ecosystem services. Research results provide decision support for regional land use planning, city urban development planning, sustainable social and economic development and ecological environment sustainable use.
