Railway transportation enterprise has a fast development in China, to satisfy the high speed, heavy load railway cargo transport requirements, improve railway freight product competitiveness, in the introduction of foreign advanced technology on the basis of the steering rack, developed a railway freight car model of Zhuan K7type bogie.As of K7bogie side frame casting type U special structure characteristics, combined with the current company foundry technology, U Deputy frame manufacturing process takes a side frame is divided into two saddle, a total of three sections section casting arm, then through mechanical processing, welding the saddle, arm docking welded together, form a complete U shaped side frame, finally after mechanical processing. Therefore, the rational welding process, ensure that the side frame welding joint quality reliability, the safety of railway transportation is very important.The study on welding residual stress generating mechanism and common welding residual stress elimination and adjustment methods were introduced, and the use of professional simulation software Sysweld on bogie side frame welding simulation analysis, calculation and analysis under different conditions in the welding process welding temperature field, welding residual stress distribution and side frame welding in welding deformation of different restraint condition, according to the simulation data and the diagram of curves, the side frame welded joint were analyzed; the Canadian company Proto iXRD residual stress tester for side frame of welded joints in welding condition and vibration aging condition are respectively welded residual stress measurement, determination of weld surface surrounding the welding stress distribution, and in the two state the welding residual stress analysis, elaborated the vibration aging on lower side frame of welding residual stress practical significance.The analysis results show that, using professional simulation software Sysweld analysis of side frame of welding residual stress distribution and variation trend and XRD stress test for residual stress distribution data matching, through the establishment of reasonable welding process, using mechanical vibration method can reduce the welding residual stress, can basically meet the product safety demand. For the bogie side frame welding joint quality safety assessment provides a certain reference value.
