The ladle Argon bottom blowing technology is an affordable and simple refining method which can uniform the steel temperature and composition effectively, and remove the harmful gases and inclusion, and improve the quality of the molten steel, thus it is widely used in the refining.Firstly, the mathematical model of the fluid flow in the steel ladle is established on the basis of the fluid mechanics. Then we do a numerical simulation of a150t ladle using CFD software Fluent to get the steady and transient flow field of the molten steel. By the numerical simulation combined with the previous studies, we research the Argon bottom-blowing method, the mixing time of the molten steel, the interaction of the molten steel and the electrode, the inclusion removal and the phenomenon of entrapped slag to obtain the reasonable Argon flux during the various stages of refining.By researching and analyzing the refining furnace Argon bottom blowing control system, the mathematical model of the controlled object is established According to the relevant mechanism analysis modeling knowledge and data. On the basis of this model and from the bottom blowing argon technology requirements and control system of the actual conditions, the PID parameter self-setting based on fuzzy control bottom blowing argon system control scheme is raised, to resolve the defects of the controlled processes can’t be accurately controlled because of the controlled object nonlinear, mathematic model parameter uncertainty and system set-point fierce changes, and other factors during the process of Argon bottom-blowing. Through theoretical analysis and simulation results, it is showed that it is better to adopt the based on fuzzy control PID parameter self-setting based on fuzzy control bottom blowing argon system control methods than conventional PID control method in various index.
