At present, the importance of self-dependent innovation on Chinese enterprises is standingout increasingly.Product innovation is an effective solution to reach the expected value in order to meet thedemands of customers and stakeholders. Innovation of underwears has some unique features.As underwears with strong functions, they pay more attention on the design effect, badly inneed of effective design management, involving multiple aspects such as labor, finance, objectand affair. As a dynamic process, design needs connection of each stage. This happens tocoincide with the dynamics of the flow. The impotence of design flow management ishighlighting increasingly.This paper based on interdisciplinary perspective of design and management reveals thecore elements which can effectively realize underwears innovation by taking a specificunderweras brand as the object of study and taking its product innovation as the mainline.Besides, based on the theory, three layers of design flow management: execution layer, middlelayer and high level, are pointed out in this paper. The middle-layer design flow managementmode with the realization of product innovation as the direct management result is expoundedin detail, including a series of flow control stages and links as well as key performanceindicators such as activity flow, fund flow and time flow. In addition, in terms of design flowmanagement, some reasonable suggestions are proposed for the case enterprise. In then end, theorganizational form matched with this design flow is simply set forth in combination of thechanges in the organizational structure of the case enterprise. This paper tries to be of certain guiding significance to underclothes enterprises in theoryso that they can implement product innovation effectively.
