In this paper, the appropriate polymer have been used to prepare the regeneration collagenfiber was chosen by the condition of solution and the compatibility with collagen. Thespinnability and rheology of collagen/chitosan composite spinning solution were studied byBohlin Gemini HR Nano200solution rheometer and interfacial tensimeter. the influences of thecoagulation bath and the after treatment were analyzed by mechanical property and content ofprotein. The structure and performance of the new fiber were measured after the processing. The results show:(1) the option of composite material. The solution condition ofwater-soluble chitosan is mostly similar with collagen. At room temperature, it can form the eventransparent spinning solution with collagen at random mixture ratio.(2)The rheology ofcomposite solution. The composite solution was a pseudoplastic fluid belonged tonon-Newtonian fluid. n<1.colloidal viscosity of the composite solution is increased with theincreasing shear rate and the reducing content of collagen.(3)analyze the influences of thecoagulation bath and the after treatment.the best condition of coagulation bath: theconcentration of the coagulation bath was15%, the length was60cm and the temperature was45℃. The best condition of after treatment was in water vapor and fixed60s.(4) after all theoptimal treatment the composite fiber had1.18cN·dtex-1breaking strength,3.98%elongationand the crystalllization rate is54.56%.(5)the results from thermal property showed that thecomposite fiber was even system. the SEM photos showed that the cross section of thecomposite fiber was even oval, the length way of it had groove mark. The IF-IR analysis showedthat the acetalation increasing the hydrothermal properties.
