Selective Laser Sintering is a kind of Rapid Prototyping Technology, which uses a laser to sinter powder material processing entity parts. This processing method shortens the product design and manufacturing cycle, reduces the development cost and improves the competitiveness of the new product. Sintered parts mechanical properties are not only influenced by the molding machine parameters, but also a sintered part has a definite impact on the adjacent one. The internal heat source is put forward on Selective Laser Sintering process in this paper, and the influence of internal heat source on Selective Laser Sintering molding process. The mechanical properties of parts are closely related to its density. The influence law of the Selective Laser Sintering internal heat source to sintered parts is analyzed and researched in this paper, to carry out research processing functional gradient parts by Selective Laser Sintering has a definite guiding significance.Firstly, the Selective Laser Sintering molding principle and technological process are analyzed. And the influences of the technological to mechanical properties of sintered parts are researched. The heating way of the forming cylinder powder bed surface powder is analyzed and researched, and concluded the heat flux density that the preheating device radiation to powder bed.The preheating temperature field of the Selective Laser Sintering powder bed surface is studied, and a more stable area of the preheating temperature is selected for the experiment and simulation of this paper. Through the experiment of horizontal and vertical direction internal heat sources influence sintered parts, and it is concluded that the influence law of sintered density and microscopic structure between the internal heat source and sintered parts on the distance and azimuth.The temperature field of the internal heat source, sintered part and their surrounding powder under the Selective Laser Sintering process is built by ABAQUS that it is a kind of finite element analysis software. It is concluded that the internal heat source size, preheat temperature and laser power influence sintering parts density.Finally, on the basis of the orthogonal test, the experimental parameters of the internal heat source on the influence of the size of sintered density is analyzed, the curves of the preheating and sintered density, laser power and sintered density, spacing and sintered density, length and sintered density, thickness and sintered density, and height and sintered density are fitted by MATLAB, and the influence law of the experimental parameters to sintered density is quantitative analyzed.
