With the growth of world population and the development of social economy, the water consumption leaps, the original clean water is polluted by human activities, the available water resources on the earth are more and more shortage. Insufficient water supply for city residents caused many difficulties and inconvenience to the city at the same time, industry and caused a great loss, so we must accelerate the sustainable utilization of water resources to alleviate the city water resources crisis. Water recovery and utilization is an important method to sewage resources, have played a crucial role to our country’s environmental protection, water resources protection, water pollution control, sustainable economic development, and has obvious economic benefit, social benefit and environmental benefit.This paper takes drainage system of North China Electric Power University as the research object, reference at home and abroad in recent years large amounts of sewage treatment engineering examples and new technology, combining the characteristics of waste water in system analysis, the reclaimed water reuse significance under the premise of campus, related technical factors has made careful research, including the water quality of influent, effluent quality design analysis of water consumption, as well as recyclable sewage quantity analysis. Sewage treatment system with physical and chemical method, based on physical method in membrane bioreactor and biological contact oxidation method to do technical principle and technical characteristics of contrast, from theoretic illuminate membrane bioreactor advantages. Then on the two kinds of process application in North China Electric Power University to the drainage system of economic benefits to do comparative research, considering the stability of water quality, process maturity and other aspects of the situation, the college for use of membrane bioreactor process.Good water quality, simple operation, small occupied area, and buried construction, water saving benefit is obvious, management difficulty is low, for a small and limited by geographical position of reclaimed water treatment station. Colleges and universities according to the water quality characteristics of the appropriate water treatment process, to achieve water resource, improve the economic benefit, social benefit and environmental benefit.
