Study On Preparation Technology Of Emulsified Diesel Fuel And The Online Emulsification System Development

In recent years, with the fast developing economy of China developing, energy demand rising rapidly, crude oil and refined oil imports also keeping breaching new records. The energy issue has become the most attracted hot issues. Moreover, environmental problems was designated as the important issues of international conference for many times, and it also has attracted increasing attention. Combustion of fuel mixed with water is considered as one of the effective ways to save energy and reduce exhaust emissions at present, preparation and development technology of emulsified diesel fuel has been the focus of researchers.In this paper, the actuality and development of emulsions in China and abroad as same as preparation technology of emulsified diesel fuel are briefly introduced. The main content, intention and significance of this investigation were presented based on the analysis of the problems in applying of emulsified diesel oil. Energy-saving and environmental protection mechanism of emulsified diesel fuel are analyzed, then, the high cost of emulsified diesel fuel preparation and the limit of the online emulsifying equipment are considered too, a new preparation technology of emulsified diesel fuel has been studied out, and a new online emulsifying equipment have been developed. The optimum process parameters of the preparation for small particle size, good monodispersity emulsified diesel were obtained with a lot of emulsified diesel oil preparation experiment.This subject mainly studies on emulsified diesel by the method of Membrane emulsification, and the emulsified diesel has high stability, and does not contain any emulsifier, its preparation is low-cost. Compared with biodiesel and diesel with additives, the equipments are free from pollution and erosion using this emulsified diesel. Finally, the effects of ethanol on emulsified diesel oil are also being studied. Compared with diesel oil. combustion characteristics of the emulsified diesel in diesel engine showed that the using of emulsified diesel can not only effectively reduce fuel consumption, but also decrease the emission of NOX. HC. the average reduction of fuel consumption. NOX and HC are about 5%,10%and15%.The results of this research provides a technical basis to the industrial application of emulsified diesel oil.
