Spinning frame is an important machine of textile machinery, its dynamic and static performance has great influence on the quality of spinning, structure optimization can improve the performance and competitiveness, but the spinning frame structure is complex, optimization is difficult, therefore, the research of spinning frame optimization has important value.In this paper, an optimum design method of large and complex mechanical structure was built up based on surrogate model. Its basic idea is to use Isight optimization integration platform to combine solidworks software and ansys software, optimize it using the multi-level surrogate model based on trust region update strategy, and search the optimal solution.And at last, taking a certain type of spinning frame as example to validate this method, and get a pareto solution set:1.reduce the total mass by19.8%with no change of the first-order natural frequency;2.increase the first-order natural frequency by17.95with no change of the total mass.The research can give a reference to the design of spinning frame, and lay the foundation for the study about structure optimization of large and complex mechanical structure.
