A kind of absorbent resin microspheres with large particle size was synthesizedfrom acrylic acid(AA), acrylamide (AM) and sodium acrylate via inverse suspensionpolymerization. Resin microspheres were modified by MMT containing the doublebond quaternary ammonium modified intercalation, High water absorbency resinmicrospheres were obtained,meanwhile, Effect of absorbent resin microspheres on theon water swelling properties of rubber was investigated. The dissertation consists offour parts as follows.The first part, The effects of stirring speed and emulsifier on the particle size, theinfluences of crosslinker dosage, monomer ratio and neutralization value of AA onabsorptivity of the resin microspheres and the effects of butyl acrylate(BA) amount onabsorption rate of the resin were explored respectively. The water retention ability ofthe resin microspheres at80℃was tested.The second part,Na-MMT was modified with DADMAC and the effect ofOMMT on absorbent resin microspheres was investigated. the effect of temperature,reaction time, and ultrasound on the modified MMT was Discussed,Experimentalresults show that OMMT added was in favor of improvinng the performance of waterabsorption, water retention, resistance to salinity and so on, While reducing the cost ofproduction of the absorbent resin.The third part, water-swelling rubbers based on nitrile butadiene rubber wereprocessed. The influence of absorbent water resin and reinforcing agent content on themechanical properties and water absorption expansion properties of water-swellingnitrile butadiene rubber were studied. The results showed that water absorptionexpansion ratio increased and the mechanical properties decreased with an increase inthe content of absorbent water resin,and Accession of the modified resin...
