Aluminum scrap cans as the quality of renewable resources, reclamation and reuse of ithas a huge role in promoting the improvement of the economic and social benefits. With theincrease in the consumption of aluminum scrap cans generated is increasing year by year, andthe energy consumption of recycled aluminum production accounts for only about5%of theenergy consumption of primary aluminum in the same weight, and therefore we should payattention to the scientific use of aluminum scrap cans. In this paper the technology ofrecycling aluminum scrap cans from mechanical processing domestic and abroad, such aspretreatment, melting technology, refining technology, refinement and modificationtechnology and aluminum scrap cans recycling technology research carried out on this basis.To the experimental raw material-Aluminum scrap cans, a series of pretreatmentprocedures such as removing the iron, washing, drying, paint removal, pressing to aluminumcake was carried out in this paper. So the iron piece, the sand and the greasy dirt in thealuminum chips have been removed effectively by above pretreatments. Meanwhile theoxidation melting loss was reduced, and the aluminum recovery rate was enhanced largely,too.In this paper, the effect of flux adding amount, flux formula and melting temperature onimpurity content and recovery rate was analyzed. The Orthogonal Optimization resultsshowed that the optimized parameters of purification process was flux adding amounts of4%,melting temperature of740°C and combination of flux formula3. In such conditions, therecovery rate of aluminum scrap cans89.3%and impurity content was0.1024%. The studyalso found that the flux formula, the flux adding amounts have the remarkable influence onthe purification of aluminum scrap cans.By add the refinement agent Al5TiB and modificators La-Ce blend of rare earth, mixedrare earth analysis of aluminum scrap cans microstructure and mechanical testing. The results showed that: the best refiner added amount is1.1%, when the refiner added amount to acertain extent the aluminum scrap cans material refining effect no longer increases; Themodificator La-Ce blend rare earths and mixed rare earth can significantly improve theperformance of the material, but when the amount exceeds1%, the modification effect nolonger increases.Homogenization treatment can significantly improve mechanical properties of thealuminum scrap cans. |
