| Organic resin lubricating coating is one of the main solid lubricating materials. With excellent anti-friction and wear-resistance properties, organic resin coatings can be widely applied in many fields of space technology and civil industry, and can be used in all the tribology parts in engineering practice. In this thesis, the organic resin of Polymide (PI), acrylic acid-modified bisphenol A epoxy resin E-51and acrylic acid-modified phenolic epoxy resin F-44were chose as adhesives, respectively, Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as solid lubricating agent and rare earth fluoride nanoparticles as filler. The preparation process, the composition of coating materials, the best ratio, construction and tribological properties of the three organic resin lubricating coatings were investigated, and the effects of the content of surface modified rare earth fluoride nanoparticles, applied load and velocity on the tribological properties of the coatings were evaluated. The mechanical of the friction and wear were discussed preliminary. The main results and conclusions as follows:1. Surface modified CeF3nanoparticles and the un-modified CeF3nanopaticles were prepared by alcohol-water method with the surface modification agent of N, N-dioctyldithiocarbamate (PNND). The surface modified CeF3nanoparticles own uniform sizes with a diameter of about15nm and have good dispersibility in1:1N-methyl pyrrolidone/N, N-dimethyl formamide mixtures. However, the unmodified CeF3nanoparticles cannot be well-dispersed in the mixtures, with serious agglomeration.2. The tribological properties and acting mechanism of the surface modified nanoparticles as filler in PI-PTFE lubricating films were evaluated. The results show that low level surface modified CeF3nanoparticles can significantly improve anti-friction and wear-resistance properties of the PI-PTFE lubricating coatings. When its content in PI-PTFE coatings are higher, the nanoparticles are easily reunion in adhesive, and results the reduction of mechanical strength of the coatings, Therefore ant-friction and wear-resistance properties of the coatings were reduced.3. The low level content PTFE solid lubricating agent can improve the anti-friction and wear-resistance of polyimide, acrylic acid-modified epoxy resin E-51and acrylic acid-modified epoxy resin F-44lubricating coatings. When the content of solid lubricating agent are higher, the continuity of the coatings are destroyed, and results the reduction of the bounding strength between solid lubricating agent and adhesives, which reduce the tribological properties of polymer lubricating coatings.4. The effects of adhesive on the tribological properties of organic resin lubricating coatings are great. The tribological properties of acrylic acid-modified epoxy resin lubricating coatings are superior to the polyimide lubricating coatings, the anti-friction1.6times of polyimide and wear-resistance2.5times of it. |
