This article selected the two photoinitiators (Benzophenone and4-Methylbenzophenone) in plastic food packagings. An analytical method based on gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and high performance liquid chromatography techniques was developed for determination of benzophenone and4-methylbenzophenone photoinitiators in printing inks used for food packaging materials, and compared the linearity range, the relative standard deviations and the limits of detection for benzophenone and4-methylbenzophenone. The test is simple and rapid, which is applicable for routine determination of food packaging materials.The thesis has established the plastic food packaging samples preparation method by a series of different experimentations, and established the solvent extraction of two photoinitiators (Benzophenone and4-Methylbenzophenone) in food packaging. With different extraction solvents and extraction time on the target have the different effect of extraction. Results showed that under the condition of extracting, the average recoveries of BP was from88.2%to88.2%, the relative standard deviations (RSD) from5.13%to7.34%.The average recoveries of MBP was from90.5%to114.5%, the relative standard deviations (RSD) from5.38%to5.38%, relative standard deviation of both types of less than10%. The results showed that the test was accurate and credible.The test of extraction BP and MBP in plastic was the mechanical shaking with extraction solvent of n-hexane.The results indicated that photoinitiators recovery rate reached the highest at3h and the oscillation frequency for the extraction of75r/min under two kinds of over time recovery rate was falling, the average recoveries of the two kinds of photoinitiators was between95%and110%.Using the ultrasonic vibration extract BP and MBP in food packaging materials with30minites, which selected ultrasonic extraction temperature from25℃to60℃, the result showed that BP and MBP in temperature50℃had best extraction effect.60℃was too high to extract.The changing of migration were effected by different time, soaking temperature and oscillation frequency.The results indicated that because of the difference of food analog polarity had different BP and MBP specific migration, its migration amount from big to small order:isooctane>65%ethanol>4%acetic acid. The biggest migration was MBP.The experiment sample was polyethylene (PE), under4℃,25℃and36℃, coating on the surface of the packaging, detected the migration quantity changes of BP and MBP of oats in the packing bag. The experimental results showed that when the temperature was36℃, the two photoinitiators have highest migration. And with the increase of temperature and time, the migration amount MBP was higher than BP.This article using Fick Principle, preliminary discussions on the single food plastic packaging materials limited under the condition of volume. The mathematical can be built for the migration of photoinitiators in food packaging materials.
