New BF technology such as gas injection with rich oxygen from tuyeres could strengthen the iron-making process, reduce the energy consumption, and reduce environmental pollution. The whole charge of BF was taken as the research object, reduced by different H2 ratio gas, the assimilation process in the high temperature zone of BF was studied, the influence of H2 ratio to assimilation process was determined. It has important theoretical significance and application value to reduce the BF energy consumption. The results are as follows:The reduction ratio of iron ore increases with reducing temperature increases, they present linear relation. The reduction ratio of iron ore increases obviously with H2 ratio of gas increases, it shows that the gas reducing ability increases obviously when the H2 ratio of gas increases, thus the assimilation process of charge changes. The iron oxide has been reduced largely in low temperature zone, the indirect reduction is mainly carried out in lumpy zone in BF, and it has decisive effect to reducing energy consumption. The influence of the H2 ratio on charge softening dropping process is great. The dropping temperature of iron ore falls significantly when the H2 ratio increases, thus the iron-making process could carry out at lower temperature, the energy consumption could be reduced. The difference between softening temperature and dropping temperature decreases with the H2 ratio increases, The BF cohesive zone become thin or even disappear. The maximum negative pressure of dropping and the maximum pressure drop decreases with the H2 ratio increases, the gas permeability of charge is improved, it is very beneficial to BF smooth operation, and the energy consumption of BF could be reduced.In the new BF technology such as nature gas injection, the acidic material entering BF through tuyeres decreases sharply, thus the basicity of charge added from furnace top decreases sharply, the slag ratio decreases sharply. It has important influence on properties of initial slag and bosh slag. The fluidity of BF slag could be improved, so the assimilation process of charge could be strengthened.Because hydrogen is clean energy, so the CO2 output of new BF technology could be reduced sharply, the pressure to the environment could be reduced sharply. As the product of hydrogen reduction is H2O, which has serious impact on the coke. The carbon loss ratio of coke increases with the H2 ratio increases, the properties of coke is deteriorated, it has higher request to coke which act as frame in BF.
