The content of the thesis established the air flow field theoretical model of the dry spinning chamber and solved the model using numerical simulation. Experiment shows that simulation results and the measured results are identical, so the model is effective. Next is the simulation of the air flow field in which the chamber is changed under the effective model and initially revealed the distribution of the spinning chamber temperature gas flow field. It lays the theoretical foundation for understanding of high polymer spinning solution for the mechanism and solving the problems in the process of spinning.Chapter 1 described the research background, the research significance, the recent progress in the world of studies on the same topic and the research content.Chapter 2 established the air flow field theoretical model of the dry spinning chamber and solved the model using numerical simulation. The dry spinning chamber model consists of the continuity equation, momentum equations, energy equation, turbulent kinetic energy equation, equation of dissipation rate of turbulent kinetic energy and boundary conditions. The k-e model is adopted. The theoretical model is discretized by the limited volume method. The staggered grid and SIMPLE algorithm are introduced and the use of TDMA method in combination with relaxation method to solve the algebraic equations is discussed. By running procedure of PHOENICS software and analysis the result, the distributions of the air velocity and air temperature of the chamber air flow field are finally obtained.The third chapter of the paper analyzed the results of numerical simulation and its computed results are confirmed by the experimental measures. It proved that the simulation results are in good agreement with the measured results.Chapter 4 simulated the changed chamber gas flow using the air flow field theoretical model and analyzed the gas distribution under the condition of different shapes, sizes and spinning process. For example change the spinning chamber silk spray head’s diameter and height, change the nozzle exit the diameter and height, change the way that ratio, etc. It founds that spinning chamber export tube diameter and flow in this position will be more intense; export tube and spinning chamber subject connection angle is smaller, air will change the smaller, etc.The fifth chapter is the summarize and the prospect.To sum up, the thesis established the dry spinning chamber gas flow model and its computed results are confirmed by the experimental measures. It lays the theoretical foundation for understanding of the dry spinning polymer tensile model research and optimization design of the drying spinning chamber.
