Industry is the foundation of a country, the development of industrial building directly affects the environment of the city and building energy-saving. Along with the rapid development of economy and the improvement of living standard, the energy consumption of building is an important content which has become restricting China’s economic development. The energy consumption in industrial building has considerable proportion, so there is no time to delay of industrial building energy consumption. So the potential of energy-saving is huge. Shenyang is located in the cold areas, energy consumption in building envelop structures is large. Therefore, the study of industrial building energy efficiency and energy consumption indexes is great significance.This paper research the cold and extreme cold area typical of the existing industrial building energy consumption situation in Liaoning Province. Study the characteristics of modern industrial building and construction requirements of the internal environment. Analysis of industrial building envelope, thermal and energy use characteristics of the system. So found many problems of energy consumption, and make recommendation.Energy simulation software described in the application of building energy consumption, energy consumption calculation method is divided into simple calculation methods and computer calculations. Building environment design simulation software DeST (Designer’s Simulation Toolkits), developed by Tsinghua University building energy simulation software, which features a distinctive building energy analysis, widely used for this building energy simulation requirements.The paper simulates the energy consumption of industrial building in Shenyang Orient Titanium industrial plants by DeST. Analysis of natural indoor temperature and the characteristics of heat load. This paper analyzes the energy use in winter from three aspects:load composition, the component, heat load per square meter.Base on the energy consumption analysis, get the energy-saving programs, compare to the various energy-saving measures, so some conservation measures can be done. The effect of energy conservation of d Low radiation window is notable, but the exterior wall isn’t, and control the window to wall ratio is conducive to energy conservation. Appropriate to reduce the indoor winter design temperature, if reduce indoor comfort degree. It is suitable to intermittence running scheme for heating system. Increase ventilation can reduce the indoor temperature, night ventilation can drop the indoor temperature during the day is not feasible in Shenyang. Choosing the design building as a simulating model for calculating air-conditioning load, determine simulation scheme by adopting orthogonal scheme methods, which influence energy consumption of industrial building.According to research and simulation results, the paper summarizes energy consumption characteristic of industrial building and bring forward effective energy conservation approach. Provide a theoretical basis for energy consumption of industrial building in Liaoning Province.
