Bridge crane is absolutely necessarily equipment in our national development ofeconomy. Overhead traveling crane will bring impact and vibration to the structure, becausethe main girder supports mechanical load at work. The fatigue destruction of metal structurewill appear, if it is influenced in the vibration for a long time. At the same time, the vibrationof structure is disadvantageous to the operator, if the parameters aren’t reasonable. Therefore,investigation of dynamic characteristic on the structure of overhead traveling crane hasbecome the study emphasis in the design domain.The thesis, which uses the product of large-span bridge crane from Xi’an ShenLi cranecompany Ltd as the object, is based on crane dynamic analysis theory and finite elementcalculating method, and utilized finite element analysis software platform of ANSYS. Itrealizes static analysis and model analysis on box-main-girder of bridge hoisting equipmentwhen the trolley with full load is in the middle of the span. The data and conclusion offeredmethod to bridge crane design. The thesis mainly includes:1. The thesis simplifies bridge crane to simply-supported beam structure by classicalmechanics method, and researches the structure analysis of box-main-girder which under thetypical working conditions, at last, checks the strength and stiffness of the box-main-girder.The results offer reliable reference and comparison for FEA.2. According to characteristics of the main girder of bridge hoisting equipment, we makean appropriate simplification to the structure of box-main-girder, and establish the finiteelement model which can accurately reflects actual situation by the finite element software ofANSYS. The static analysis on the structure of box-main-girder was done, when the trolleywith full load is in the middle of the span. We gained the displacement and stress regulation ofdistribution under the static load condition, then compared its results with academic calculatedresults, by which the correctness of results was validated.3. Based on static analysis on the structure of bridge hoisting equipment,this thesis putforward a kind of improved method to the flange of box-main-girder. After improvement,about14%material will be reduced, the result of improve indicates that it can make to reduce the weight of the box-main-girder, as well as decreasing manufacture cost effectively.4. The thesis completes the model analysis on box-main-girder of bridge hoistingequipment by ANSYS, and then obtains the dynamic characteristics, including the former fourrank of the natural frequency, the model shape of vibration and dynamic stiffness. In addition,the impacts on the natural frequency of bridge hoisting equipment by the place of trolley, thelifting load, the mass of trolley are analyzed.In a word, the thesis analyzed the static and dynamic characteristic of the bridge hoistingequipment, and then, put forward a kind of improved plan to the structure of box-main-girder.It not only offers more reliable theoretical foundation for safe operation of the bridge hoistingequipment, but also provides significant references to the design of main girder in bridgecrane.
