SBS modified asphalt can effectively improve the performance of the pavements, so inrecent years, it is widely used. Existing researches show that the conventional performanceindexes of the modified asphalt have a certain rule changes with the SBS content change.However, there is no effective method to analyze and detect the SBS content of SBS modifiedasphalt, the quality of SBS modified asphalt can’t be effectively controled, so the qualitycontrol technology of SBS modified asphalt needs further research.First, in this paper we analyze the asphalt conventional performance index of SBSmodified asphalt which is prepared through the four matrix asphalt and a SBS modifier,andmake a deep research on the production principle of SBS modified asphalt. And then analyzethe properties change relationship of SBS modified asphalt with the SBS content change, thenwe confirm a reasonable content in the SBS modified asphalt production, and formulate thecorresponding key technical indicators to control the reasonable content. In order to solve thenot coincident phenomenon on anti-aging performance evaluation index in evaluating theanti-aging performance of SBS modified asphalt, this paper studies using weighted closevalue method to indirectly evaluate the anti-aging performance of SBS modified asphlat, thismethod changes a number of evaluation index into a single evaluation index which is calledthe most optimal close value, and makes the evaluation more direct and accurate. DoingSHRP performance test To SBS modified asphalt, and analyzing the experimental results, thispaper establishes the relationship between the SHRP performance index and the conventionalperformance index, that is conventional high temperature performance index TR&Bhas goodcorrelation with SHRP high temperature index, and conventional low temperatureperformance index5℃ductility has low correlation with SHRP low temperature index. Thispaper also makes use of the Fourier transform infrared spectrometer for projection spectralscanning to matrix asphalt, SBS modifier, different SBS content of modified asphalt, and thenthese infrared spectrum charts are compared and analyzed, Using the least square method, alinear regression calibration model is established between SBS modifier content and theabsorbance of characteristic absorption peak, which can be used to check the SBS modifier content in modified asphalt. Finally, this paper studies the quality control technology of SBSmodified asphalt in production process, and confirm the method to ensure product quality.
