Efficient and less pollutant combustion is the goal of furnace burner design and use, in this paper, aiming at Gas fuel burner used in Petrochemical industry, experimental research and structural optimization were carried out. Firstly, the burner experimental device was setted up, the flow field was measured with PIV under different conditions, such as different nozzles structure or gas amount and swirl angles. After collecting and analyzing of on-site data of operation, the basis of the theoretical principles were used, such as heat transfer, mass transfer and chemical reaction, through the CFD fluid analysis, a model of furnace operation was established. In order to improve furnace temperature field and reduce NOx, Then effects of nozzle structure parameters and combustion channel on the temperature field distribution or the pollutants emission were analyzed, At the same time, considered of putting a swirl at the first air chamber to make recirculation zone and studied the effect to fuel gas and air mixing. At last, the structural parameters of the furnace burner with high efficiency and low NOx were determined. The parameters are given, The number of spray hole is16and the diameter is1.7mm, Swirl angle is54°to58°and outlet diameter of precombustion chamber is254mm by the simulation and feasibility analysis.
