With the development and the promotion of the electric vehicle (EV) technology, the construction of the EV charging station is promoted across the country and even the world, while, at present, most of the batteries in the EV charging station are used for the EV cars, and it is against the full utilization of the batteries. According to this situation, this paper provided the design of the D-STATCOM based on the EV charging station. The main researchs are as follows:At first, this paper summarized the research and the development status of EV charging station, then discussed the development of the EV charging station in our country, and proposed the design of the D-STATCOM based on the EV charging station.Then, the structure and the working principle of the D-STATCOM are introduced, through the mathematical calculation; the D-STATCOM operation characteristics are analyzed.The detection of the three-phase instruction signals are important to the D-STATCOM, this paper firstly introduced the common detection methods, then analyzed the instantaneous reactive power theory, according the shortage of this method in sync signal detection, this paper then analyzed two sync signal detection method, and proposed a improved sync detection method based on two-phase Csin/cos transformation.According to the low pass filter, this paper used the sliding average filtering method, for its simple, quick and easy to digital realization, and this method is improved forward to the sudden change of the load. While, according to the switching ripple, this paper used the LCLR as output filter, and analyzed the parameters characteristics of the values of L, C and R.At last, a D-STATCOM compensation model based on three-phase unbalanced system is established in PSIM, which used to validate the correctness effectiveness of the method. And also, the control programs are wrote in CCS3.3, then dowm load these programs to DSP, and testing on the test model, validate the correctness of the programs.
