As a clean energy, the proportion of the wind power in the power generation is gradually increasing over the past few years. The impact on the grid as the large scale wind power interconnects grid should not be neglected any longer. The well developed wind energy areas mostly are located in mountainous or coastal areas. Combined with the reactive characteristics of the wind farms, the strength of the voltage stability is closely related to the reactive power injection, so that the wind power grid connection creates great influence on the voltage stability.Based on the case of Jiejinshan wind farm accessing to the grid of Jiansanjiang region, this paper shows the influence on the voltage stability of Jiansanjiang region by modeling, calculating and data analysis. According to the turbine model provided by Jiejinshan wind farm, this paper first models the doubly fed induction generator and then uses the PV curve combined Jiejinshan wind farm connection to carried out the static voltage stability calculation and analysis based on the actual grid situation. This paper further analyzes the transient voltage stability of the three-phase short、 wind disturbances and load disturbance of the Jiejinshan wind farm. In addition, this paper makes the research and discussion on the LVRT capability on dynamic reactive power compensation device of Jiejinshan wind farm. This paper also calculates the voltage stability of Jiansanjiang region after forward transformer access to Jiansanjiang grid, according to the suggestions given by the Heilongjiang Electric Power Company and North East Electric Power Design Institute.The results show that the voltage stability conform the requirements of the national grid with its own low-voltage ride through capability after the grid connection. The final results prove the validity of the forward transformer settings and importance by adding variable-ahead to the calculation. The calculated results of static voltage stability and transient voltage stability after Jiejinshan wind farm access to Jiansanjiang region Jiansanjiang are given in this paper, providing the reference for the future study of the region grid.
