In petrol-chemical industry, with the increase of international market competition, it is necessary to improve the automation level of an enterprise for enhancing the product quality and saving labor force cost and raw materials. Distributed Control System (DCS) developed from CNOOC FUDAO Honeywell TPS system possesses a series of powerful control functionalities and their related integrated hardware-software structures, which can provide with a good reliability for DCS application. To improve the reliability of an advanced control strategy in application level, it is necessary for engineers to study a specified object and its related control demands. This thesis completes a series of works based on the background of large granule urea production, and the details can be listed.The software-hardware resources of CNOOC FUDAO Honeywell TPS based DCS are further analyzed. Based on the features of the control system and the practical application, a fluidized bed based large granule urea production based on DCS for variable frequency speed regulation is modified, and its configuration solution is optimized.Through the integration of variable frequency speed regulation and DCS, a switchover without interference between control valve and frequency-inverter motor is realized in producing process control.The multi-parameters calculations of DCS are studied. Combining the process of production unit, the advanced control is realized, and the related redundant control technology is further studied.Combining with the intellectual-instrument technology, the smart transmitter measuring technique is realized, and the problem treatment and routine maintenance in DCS are further discussed.This thesis presents the difference between the variable frequency speed regulation and other transfer speed technologies, introduces energy saving related problems by using the variable frequency technology and its application on other industries.
