The brushless DC motors (BLDCM) has the characteristics of small volume, light weight, high efficiency, at the same time can overcome some disadvantages, such as some problems brought by the mechanical commutator brush DC motor, So it can be used in various fields, but are more widely. Its characteristics of the time-varying, nonlinear, strong coupling based on the high performance, speed adjusting method has become one of the research direction of play a decisive role, especially in this direction based on neural network control.In this paper, the brushless DC motor mathematical description and the basic structure and operation principle was discussed, the basic scheme of my personal presents are established for the modeling and Simulation of PID speed control simulation model is the Matlab/Simulink BLDCM control system is based on the conventional PID and neural network based on respective advantages, In order to design the adaptive single neuron PID while online learning intelligent control algorithm, simulation model and build the double closed loop brushless DC motor speed control system, the simulation on the Matlab/Simulink simulation platform. From the simulation results can be seen on conventional PID control effect and robustness than intelligent PID algorithm, and can meet the demand of real-time system.
