| Ventilator,as one of the essential medical equipments in general hospitals, plays avery important role in emergency treatment and adjuvant therapy. This design is based onthe requirements of the users to build a safe and reliable medical ventilator control system.It consists of ten working modes which were designed based on three cycle styles tomeet the demands of patients under different situations so as to make the treatment morecomfortable and efficient. It can monitoring the breathing rate , tidal volume andinspiratory/expiratory in real time,and then show the major parameters on the LCDmonitor in the form of words and graphics. And at the same time, it’s set up with upper andlower limits of pressure. Alarm signals will be sent when the patient is abnormal.This design is based on breathing systems and electric circuits of common Ventilatorto accomplish the hardware design of the control system. This system’s CPU is LPC2368and consists of minimum system, testing department, actuator department, LCD monitor,communication module, memory expansion, keyboard and alarm device. After drawing theright schematic and PCB, we will build ventilator controlling system hardware equipmentswhich meet the demands of users.The experimental results show that this ventilator control system can work stably.What’s more, it is reliable and with excellent Human-computer interaction so that canbasically meet the demands of users. Then provides some advice for the development ofventilator control system. By researching for this task, the author got improvements of theabilities of analyzing and solving problems, and this will be beneficial and instructive forthe author’s future work and practice. |
