| Objective:To explore the operation opportunity for treatment of hepatolithiasis with mild acute cholangitis by liver resection. Methods: Based on the retrospective analysis of clinical data of76patients received surgical treatment for hepatolithiasis in our hospital from January2006to December2010, the comparative study is made on the surgical results, complications and residual stone rate of hepatic left lateral lobectomy and other surgical procedures.Results:1. The patients with hepatolithiasis in our hospital generally have left localized hepatolithiasis, and the hepatic left lateral lobectomy is generally adopted as the surgical method;2. During the treatment of hepatolithiasis by hepatic left lateral lobectomy, through the comparison between the patients with combined light cholangitis and uncombined cholangitis, there are no significant differences among intraoperative blood loss, blood transfusion volume, number of patients for blood transfusion, average length of stay, hospitalization expense, postoperative complications, residual stones, etc;3. During the treatment of hepatolithiasis without hepatic left lateral lobectomy, the patients with combined light cholangitis show higher in intraoperative blood loss, blood transfusion volume, number of patients for blood transfusion, average length of stay, hospitalization expense, postoperative complications, residual stones, etc;Conclusion:1. The operation opportunity for treatment of hepatolithiasis with mild acute cholangitis by hepatic left lateral lobectomy shall be scheduled in the same hospital stay, and the best duration is two weeks;2. Theoperation opportunity for treatment of hepatolithiasis with mild acute cholangitis without hepatic left lateral lobectomy is within one to three months after the inflammation is controlled. |
