Clinical Therapeutic Effect Analysis Of The Fusion And Nonfusion Operation In Surgical Treatment Of Multiple Cervical Spondylosis Myelopathy

Objective:To evaluate the feasibility、operation essential and relative merits of the fusion and nonfusion operation in surgical treatment of multiple cervical spondylosis myelopathy,with observing the clinical therapeutic effect.Method:Since January2010to July2011,30consecutive cases with multiply cervical spondylosis myelopathy were treated with the fusion and nonfusion operation,there were24males and6females, with the average age of51years ranging from33to70years.22patients were two stages,8patients were three stages.All cases were followed-up for5months to22months.The patients’neurological functional outcomes were assessed using the JOA and VAS scale. The cervical curvature was measured with Cobb angle, then range of motion,the height of intervertebral artificial disc as well as adjacent intervertebral disc.complications of surgery between preoperation and postoperation were evaluated.Result:All patients’postoperative neurological functional were improved.The preoperation JOA scale is10.5,and the postoperation JOA scale is14.3, the improvement rate is58.46%; The preoperation VAS scale is7.3,and the postoperation VAS scale is3.2; The Cobb angle of preoperation is25±3.21°, the Cobb angle of postoperation is20±2.56°,the cervical curvature was improved,the range of motion was reserved, the height of artifical discs were equal to that of the adjacent discs,then complications of surgery (such as:heteropic ossification,The built-in thing sink,displacement,looseness,neural symptoms.postoperative throat pain and so on)is decreased.Conclusion:Fusion and Unfusion surgery operation for multiple cervical spondylosis myelopathy more safety、complications smaller, short-term curative effect satisfaction, that is a kind of new and reasonable treatment.
