Research On Problems Of Medical Security Of Accompanying Children Of Migrant Workers In China

With the acceleration of urbanization, more and more migrant workers moved into cities and their children had become accompany children which colony only exists in China, In recent years, the characteristics of children of migrant workers are migration of large amount, migration to same cities and migration of long time. Since the children of migrant workers are living in the cities unlike their parents lived in countryside, they are equal to the children who are the urban residents to have the treatment of medical security. But due to the constraints of inherent household registration system, children of migrant workers are in isolation outside city social security system. In recent years, the education problem of children of migrant workers have got social attention, but compared with the education problem, their medical security problems should be paid more attention to. For health situation of one’s childhood not only directly determines one’s life health foundation, on the whole, but also affects the country’s national health quality. On the other hand, children’s physical characteristics have decided that they bear more disease risks than adults. And because of the special identity, income of their families and other social factors, children of migrant workers faced more risks than urban children. So their problems of medical security should be took responsibilities and solved by the government.This paper will expounds the social background of problems of medical security of children of migrant workers And with analysis of current medical security of accompanying children, points out the problems existing in the main medical security policies and stress the severity of the problem. In the last part of the paper, some countermeasures and suggestions have been put forward.
