| Abstract:Colorectal cancer is a common malignancy of gastrointestinaltract,and the incidence of colorectal cancer is becoming higher and higher.Atpresent had the trend,that the incidence of colon cancer is higher than theincidenceof rectal cancer.Early colorectal cancer often has no obvious symptoms,when itis discovered the Pathologic stage is late.Diagnosis and differential diagnosis ofthe cancer mainly relies on symptoms,signs,Tumor serum marker,imagingexamination and Endoscopy.Surgical resection is the main treatment forcolorectal cancer,postoperative complementary with chemotherapy,radiationtherapy,and gene therapy,targeted therapy and immune therapy.Liver has themost frequently distant metastasis of colorectal cancer,also liver metastasis isthe main death cause.The mainly aim of our research is to detect the serumproteomic patterns in early liver metastasis of colorectal cancer patients bysurface enhanced laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry(SELDI-TOF-MS).There is great clinical significance of early diagnosis,treatment and prognosis in early liver metastasis of colorectal cancer.Methods:20colorectal cancer patients and20early liver metastasis ofcolorectal cancer patients in202Hospital of PLA.The20colorectal cancerpatients’average age is37years,the age range from32to42years,and the20early liver metastasis of colorectal cancer patients’average age is45years,theage range from39to52years.All of the patients were received radicalsurgery,serum was collected before any therapy.The relative contents of serumproteins were detected by WCX2chip and SELDI-TOF-MS.Results:At the M/Z values range from2000Da to30000Da,the contents oftwo proteins(3774Da and11851Da)had significant difference in the three groups.Conclusion:The two significant different proteins(M/Z3774Da and11851Da)that screened by SELDI-TOF-MS may play an important role in theearly liver metastasis of colorectal cancer,and it could be a indicator in thediagnosis and prognosis. |
