The Case Report Of The Implant-supported Dentures Treatment Of Periodontally Compromised Patients

Objective:The report discusses the difficulty of the implant-supported dentures treatment of periodontally compromised patients and the countermeasures.Methods:Collect5patients in the Oral Implant Center of Zhejiang University Dental Hospital Medical College of Zhejiang University. These were all periodontally compromised patients with partially or completely edentulous. We evaluate the periodontal situation of five patients. design the best implant-supported treatment to restore the lack teeth of patients assistant with the data form X-ray and CBCT. The restoration effects were evaluated with clinical examination.radiological examination and chief complaints of patients.Result:The58implants of the five patients, except one implant of the patient failed, meet the criteria of implant success.Conclusion:For the periodontally compromised patients, with improving preoperative treatment plan and reasonable repairing maintenance, the implant-supported dentures treatment can be satisfactory and successful.
