Objective:Research and make Clinical Nursing Pathway which canbe used in treatment for children patients with Kawasaki disease.Discuss the effect of clinical nursing pathway in treatment of patients withKawasaki disease such as recovery of symptoms, cardiovascularcomplications, improving the quality of nursing care and reducing thenumber of days in hospital.Methods: Organize management system of clinical nursingpathway applied to Kawasaki disease, through methods of datacollection, evidence-based and expert advice. Make the clinical nursingpathway in the treatment of Kawasaki disease. Training team memberson implementation of clinical nursing pathway in patients with Kawasakidisease so that they can master the specific steps and procedures ofclinical nursing pathway. With the method of the different period forclinical cohort studies, strictly filter out the clinical cases of clinicalnursing path according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.Comparison clinical information of47cases of implementing existingnursing mode (May2009to May2010, traditional group) and54cases ofimplementation of clinical nursing pathway (June2010to June2011,clinical nursing pathway group) in the Department of cardiovascular ofthe first hospital of Jilin University hospitalization in patients withKawasaki disease in children.Experimental group implementation based on the clinical nursingpathway table, controls group implementation based on traditional nursing patterns. Through the evaluation of treatment in patients withcooling time, improvement of symptoms and auxiliary examination;complications of organs such as the heart, health knowledge, patientsatisfaction, the number of days in hospital, to observe the effect ofclinical nursing pathway pattern on nursing quality.Results:Formulated by the expert group to discuss CNP tablenurse and patient versions, for using by nursing staff and patients.Patients in the experimental group and the control group of age, genderunder the premise of not significantly different, cooling time onexperimental group less than the control group (p<0.01). Coronaryartery lesions of two groups are not significantly different(p>0.05).Nursing job satisfaction, health knowledge and the number of days inhospital compared with the control group had significantly beenimproved, with statistically significant differences (p<0.01).
