Expressions Of C-FLIP And Caspase-9in Human Gliomas And Their Clinical Significance

Objective:To investigate the expression and correlations of c-FLIP and caspase-9in human glioma,analyze their effect on occurrence,development of this diease,for clarifying the apoptosis related pathogenesis of glioma and providing clinical guidance.MethodsrA total of55cases of glioma specimens were collected during the period of January2011to October2011at Department of Neurosurgery,Second Affiliated Hospital of Lanzhou University,Lanzhou, China.The expression of c-FLIP and caspase-9were detected by straptavidin-peroxidase immunohistochemistry method in55cases of glioma.Expression of these proteins were analyzed for correlation with sex,age,pathology classification,histological typing and peritumoral edema by SPSS16.0statistical software.Results:Positive expression rate of c-FLIP in lower grade and higher grade is82.48%、92.86%respectively.There was significant diffence of c-FLIP expression between lower grade and higher grade(p<0.05),except that the sex,age,histological typing and peritumoral edema(P>0.05).The positive expression rate of csapase-9in lower grade and in higher grade was96.30%,85.71%,respectively.There was significant diference betweent the two group, except that the sex,age,histological typing and peritumoral edema(P>0.05).Moreover,negative correlation was discovered between the expression of c-FLIP and caspase-9in this group (r=-0.329, P=0.000)ConclusionsrThe expression characteristics of c-FLIP in gliomas is increased with the grade,this can inhibit cell apoptosis and cause gliomas. The expression characteristics of caspase-9in gliomas is decreased with the grade,and finally the gliomas is occurrence and development.
