Objective To investigated the expression of TGR5and FXR in human colorectal cancer and its clinical significance. Methods thirty-six cases of cancer tissue specimens, paracancerous and normal colorectal tissues were collected from June2011to December.QRT-PCR were used to detect TGR5and FXR expression in those specimens.Result The expression of TGR5were11.97±6.39and5.61±3.62in colorectal cancer and paracancerous tissues. The difference was statistically significant. the difference of expression of TGR5was statistically significant,in the colon and rectum cancer, paracancerous tissue specimens.TGR5expression was15.17±5.20、11.10±6.07、9.61±4.77、and14.89±9.08times in stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ、Ⅲ、and Ⅳ colorectal cancer, respectively. the difference was not statistically significant. the difference was not statistically significant (P<0.05).TGR5expression was not associated with metastasis and without metastasis respectively. The expression of FXR were0.164±0.347and0.375±0.314in colorectal cancer and paracancerous tissues. The difference was statistically significant. the difference of expression of FXR was statistically significant,in the colon and rectum cancer, paracancerous tissue specimens.FXR expression was0.445±0.315,0.164±0.198,0.314±0.680and0.062±0.065times in stage Ⅰ, Ⅱ、Ⅲ、and Ⅳ colorectal cancer, respectively. the difference was not statistically significant. FXR expression was not associated with metastasis and without metastasis respectively. the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusions TGR5and FXR was higher and lower expression in human colorectal cancer than normal colorectal tissues respectively, might be associated with the genesis and development of colorectal cancer.
