Psoriasis is a common, chronic, recurrent and inflammatory skin disease,Its typical lesion is scaled red spot.Investigations revealed that the morbidity of Psoriasis was0.1%-3%in Population of the world, and there were more than4million Psoriasis patients in China. However, The cause of Psoriasis was unknown, now it’s deemed that Psoriasis was a polygenic disease which was related to genetic factors, environmental factors, infection, metabolic disorders and immune function obstacle. In recent years,it was found that Human Leukocyte Antigen(HLA) was significantly related with psoriasis.HLA is located in the6p21.31area of the short arm of the sixth chromosome, it is a set of closely chain of genes which has polygenic and polymorphism. Many studies indicated that the correlation between psoriasis and HLA had obvious differences of race and region. This study is to investigate the related gene of psoriasis in Lanzhou area. Objective To investigate the association between HLA-DQA1*0104,0201allele and Psoriasis Vulgaris in the Han nationality in Lanzhou. Methods Using the method of high-resolution polymerase chain reaction amplification with sequence specific primers(PCR-SSP),we detected the distribution frequencies of HLA-DQA1*0104and*0201allele among60patients with Psoriasis Vulgaris and56healthy persons as controls, then compared with each other. Results The frequencies of HLA-DQA1*0104and*0201allele in patients with Psoriasis Vulgaris(41.67%,36.67%) all showed a significant difference compared with the healthy control group(17.86%.14.29%)(P<0.05).Conclusion HLA-DQA1*0104and*0201may be the susceptibility allele of Psoriasis Vulgaris in the Han nationality in Lanzhou.
