ObjectivesDrug recombinant human parathyroid hormone (1-34) intervention on changes ininsulin-like growth factor1(IGF-1) the impact of their bone mineral density, insulin-like growthfactor1(IGF-1) in rats fracturestudies provide a reference.MethodsThe choice of a5-month-old female SD rats of90randomly selected5measured bonedensity, and the rest divided into sham group, control group and the recombinant humanparathyroid hormone (1-34) treatment group. Sham group rats only removal of both ovariesaround a small amount of organization, the remaining rats underwent bilateral egg removal.3months after the castration, randomly selected from the surgical group10measured bone mineraldensity, bone mineral density before contrast castration modeling to determine the success or not.Under the same conditions of all the rats of the remaining rats underwent right middle femurtransverse fractures preparation model, after eating, only to give the treatment group, recombinant human parathyroid hormone (1-34) treatment. Indicators collected include, measurement of the right femur and lumbar vertebrae L3,6bone mineral density (BMD);determination of the serum of Ca, P, ALP, serum osteocalcin (BGP) and insulin-like growthfactor (IGF1).ResultsThe contrast made the changes in bone mineral density before and after the model ofosteoporosis, modeling success. Surgery compared with the sham operation group, the rightfemur bone mineral density values increased in the intervention results show significantdifferences after comparing. Drug intervention after sampling BGP concentrations increase in theexpression of insulin-like growth factor1(IGF-1) in4weeks and8weeks after the data, with thesham group, the difference was significant (P <0.05). Drug intervention or not does not affectcalcium and phosphorus content of the metabolic changes between the two groups contrast thedifference was not significantConclusionsRecombinant human parathyroid hormone (1-34) of rhPTH (1-34) low-dose use does notpromote the expression of insulin-like growth factor1(IGF-1), and can significantly improvebone mineral density of ovariectomized rats.
