Observe the Gymnastic Qigong BaDuanJin adjuvant treatment of Type II diabetesObject iveTo explore the impact of the Gymnastic Qigong BaDuanJin to the fluctuations in blood glucose, glucose and lipid metabol ism in pat i en ts with Type II diabetes; Analysis the relativity of continuous glucose monitoring data with the traditional blood glucose testing methods.MethodIn this study,59cases of Guang An Men endocrine clinic patients with Type II diabetes were randomly divided into Baduanjin group and normal control group, BaDuanJin group29cases and the control group30cases. The observation time is6months. Baduanjin group in the conventional oral hypoglycemic agents on the basis of the Gymnastic Qigong BaDuanJin intervene. The control group only use the conventional oral hypoglycemic medication without Qigong intervention. Before and after6months of the treatment,All the patients have the continuous glucose monitoring and biochemical tests. Then collect the Continuous Glucose Monitoring data and Glycosylated Hemoglobin (HbAlc), Fasting venous Blood Glucose (FBG), Triglyceride (TG), Total cholesterol (CHO), High Density Lipoprotein (HDL), Low-density Lipoprotein (LDL) data, using SPSS18.0software package for statistical analysis.ResultAt the beginning, there was no significant in the basic informat ions (P>0.05) of the two groups (including age, body mass index, waist to hip ratio, course of the disease, sex ratio, education level); The cont inuous glucose moni tor ing data (including the average blood glucose,blood glucose fluctuation coefficient, fasting glucose average value,2h postprandial blood glucose average value), HbAlc, FBG and lipid level had no significant difference too(P>0.05), has good comparability;1. Sugar metabolismBefore and after6months’exercising, the BaDuanJin group’s continuous glucose monitoring data including the average value of blood sugar, fasting glucose average value,2h postprandial blood glucose average value, blood sugar fluctuations coefficient have significant difference (P<0.01), and the data after exercising lower than those before. After exercising, the HbAlc and FBG value are lower than before, and have significant difference (P<0.01).Before and after6months, the control group’s continuous glucose monitoring data including the average value of blood sugar, fasting glucose average value,2h postprandial blood glucose average value, blood sugar fluctuations coefficient have no significant difference (P>0.05), After6months, the HbAlc and FBG value have no significant difference too(P>0.05). Treatment for6months later, the continuous glucose monitoring data, HbAlc and FBG value between two groups has significant difference (P<0.01). The data of BaDuanJin group is lower than the control group. The results show that BaDuanJin has certain efficacy to assist Type II diabetes to control blood glucose.2. Lipid metabolismBefore and after6months’, Both of the two groups’blood lipid value (including triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (CHO), high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL)has no significant difference(P>0.05).3. The relativity of continuous glucose monitoring data with the traditional blood glucose testing methods.The four times referential self-monitoring blood glucose value and the corresponding value of continuous glucose monitoring system have significant relativity (P<0.01). The continuous glucose monitoring data including the average value of blood sugar, fasting glucose average value,2h postprandial blood glucose average value have significant relativity with the HbAlc and FBG value. Moreover, the average value of blood sugar has the best relativity with IlbAlc and FBG value which can prove the continuous glucose monitoring system data is accurate and reliable, has clinical practical value.
